I am a board-certified clinical social worker and have practiced psychotherapy since 1992. As you might imagine, my treatment approach has changed and evolved during that period of time. Like most clinicians, I have worked in numerous inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals, couples and families. I have training and experience using various treatment models and methods including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodrama, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), adventure therapy, family systems therapy and depth therapy, with an emphasis on dreamwork and creative narrative. Through the years, I have gained much insight on a personal as well as a professional level by doing my own work with a Jungian Analyst, which profoundly changed the way I look at my life and my work. My preferred therapy model is depth therapy. I truly believe the psyche - both personal and collective - longs for healing and unity. By exploring the subconscious and unconscious through talk therapy, dreamwork, journaling and art, the unconscious begins to surface and speak to us if we are listening. I believe that this is when real healing can occur as we become more integrated and aware of our unconscious complexes and motivations.

My primary goal as you enter my office is that you will feel a sense of calm, and know that you are in a safe environment to talk about your life story without any judgment or agenda. My role, as I see it, is to join with you to define and solidify your purpose and destiny in this life. I am not an expert on your life, but you are. I honor that fact and am here to serve as a witness to your life journey.

My location in Albuquerque, NM, is at The Healing Gate, 3212 Monte Vista Blvd NE. Parking is available in the front and back of the building, as well as on side streets and Monte Vista Blvd.
